VietLawyers.com was founded by Jerry Doan, an American attorney of Vietnamese lineage, who serves as the network coordinator.

Honored as Arkansas Traveler - Ambassador of Good Will of the State of Arkansas - by then Governor and later United States Senator David Pryor, and included in the Marquis’ Who's Who in American Law, Jerry now maintains a limited practice as Law & Business Advisor and serves as Of-Counsel to several American and Vietnamese law firms. Earlier, he co-founded and managed three law groups and practiced business law in Silicon Valley, California, at times as in-house Counsel for technology start-ups. 

Jerry holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California Hastings College of The Law, an MBA from the University of Arkansas Graduate School of Business, and a Licence-en-Droit from the University of Saigon Law School. He was a member of the Saigon Bar in Vietnam prior to 1975 and has been member of the California Bar since 1982. 

Other than his work in the law, Jerry has held management positions in the U.S. Telecom and Defense sectors and consulted for business on strategic and leadership matters. Until recently he taught at the Graduate School of Business and Management, University of Phoenix.
